Our animals are joining us in participating in the business!
We have discovered that people have uses for chicken feathers and angora rabbit fiber and want to share these products with our customers. Our animals are VERY well loved and cared for on our homestead.
Their products are obtained in a cruel-free manner that is part of their overall care.
The chicken feathers are naturally lost and picked up during our routine visits to their coop and expansive run. This is why we have a limited supply available!

The rabbit fur is normally obtained through brushing. French Angora rabbits need regular brushing to remove their extremely soft fur. Our male, Mr. Lucky, isn't as good at taking care of his coat as Ms. Lady is, so at times we do have to cut the hair and remove occasional knots that have formed. Once we have started this process and he's relaxed, we simply continue with this procedure to avoid changing things up and causing him any undue stress.
