Our Process
We take pride in the journey of each piece from tree to treasure. Our process begins with locally sourced logs. Once chosen, these logs undergo a transformative journey on our portable sawmill. With precision and care, we expertly cut each log into the desired dimensions, maximizing the yield and preserving the natural beauty of the wood.
Next, our lumber enters the drying phase, where it is first transferred into our innovative solar kiln. Bathed in the gentle warmth of the sun, the lumber begins its journey of moisture reduction, gradually achieving the ideal equilibrium for stability and longevity.
But our commitment to quality doesn't stop there. After the initial drying process in the solar kiln, our lumber is carefully transferred to another kiln for finishing. Here, under controlled conditions, any remaining moisture is gently removed, ensuring uniformity and durability in every piece.
This meticulous approach to sourcing, cutting, and drying ensures that each piece of lumber that leaves our facility is of the highest quality, ready to be transformed into heirloom-worthy creations by craftsmen and woodworkers alike.
