Community Supported Agriculture - CSA
🌾 What Is a CSA?
Connecting You Directly to Your Farmer
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture — a partnership between farmers and community members who value fresh, local food. When you join a CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of the farm’s harvest in advance. In return, you receive regular boxes of seasonal products throughout the season — all grown or raised with care right on the farm.
Instead of shopping at the grocery store, you’ll enjoy food that’s fresher, more flavorful, and raised by people you know and trust.
🧺 How a CSA Works
-
You Sign Up for a Share
Members purchase their share before the season begins. This helps the farm plan for feed, seed, and supplies while guaranteeing you a spot for the upcoming season. -
We Raise and Harvest
Throughout the season, we care for our animals and land using sustainable, pasture-based practices. -
You Receive Farm-Fresh Food
At each pickup or delivery, you’ll receive a curated selection of our farm’s products — like pasture-raised meats and fresh eggs during the winter months. -
You Become Part of the Farm
CSA members are more than customers — they’re part of the farm family. You’ll get farm updates, cooking ideas, and a behind-the-scenes look at how your food is raised.
💚 Why CSA Matters
A CSA is about more than food — it’s about connection.
-
You support local, sustainable agriculture.
-
You eat seasonally and enjoy peak freshness.
-
You help small farms thrive and reduce the distance your food travels.
-
You gain confidence in where your food comes from and how it’s produced.
When you join a CSA, you invest in real food, real farms, and a healthier food system.
🐔 At Growing Roots Farm
Our Winter CSA focuses on pasture-raised meats and eggs — raised on non-GMO, organic-based feed and plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Each share helps our family farm continue to care for our animals, land, and community year-round.
