This is a handmade toy short sword! It is built to be tough.
It is made with all reclaimed items. The blade is from reclaimed poplar tier rails from an Ohio tobacco barn. The hilt is ash wood obtained from a fallen tree on our own homestead.
The wood was cut and dried in our solar kiln. It was then planed, put together in this unique design and thoroughly sanded.
A wood conditioner was applied to bring out the beauty of the wood. Polyurethane sealant was added to give it more durability.
Sword measures approximately 19" overall with a 12" blade.
