Make mealtime easy with our versatile Beef Stew/Kabob Meat, conveniently cut into bite-sized pieces and ready for your favorite recipes. Whether you're making a hearty beef stew, slow-cooked meal, or grilling kabobs, this is a convenient way to enjoy flavorful, pasture-raised beef without the extra work of cutting and trimming.

Our beef is a 75% Dexter and 25% Angus blend. The cattle were raised on another local farm and then brought to Growing Roots Farm to be grass-finished on our rotationally grazed pastures. This combination provides the rich flavor and excellent texture we look for in our beef while supporting local, pasture-based agriculture.

Cooking Suggestions

This versatile cut works beautifully with both slow-cooking and high-heat methods:

  • For stew: Slow cook or braise with vegetables, broth, and your favorite seasonings
  • For kabobs: Thread onto skewers with vegetables and grill over medium-high to high heat
  • For the grill: Avoid overcooking to help maintain tenderness
  • Seasoning: Salt, pepper, garlic, herbs, marinades, or your favorite beef seasoning
  • Tip: For kabobs, marinating the beef beforehand can help enhance tenderness and flavor
