Custom Orders - Softball Ring Holders

Custom Orders - Softball Ring Holders

Back in the day (I'm admitting that I'm old) when I played sports, we received trophies for prizes. It was recently brought to my attention that some sports today are receiving medals and rings for prizes after winning a big competition. This makes perfect sense to me as these must be easier to display and carry around.  We had requests for a personalized way to display these images of triumph. Here's the result:   The hubby built the frame and center shelves.      I painted the frame white to mimic the home plate.      I painted the design...

We've Moved!

We've Moved!

We have some exciting news to share: We have moved!  We have been contemplating this change for a little while. Calm Your Hive

Calm Your Hive

They all had some things in common:      - Heated emotion     - Derogatory...

We were recently contacted by a customer that wanted our help with replacing their shutters. This was a new project for us but we were excited for the challenge.    Here are a few pictures of the old shutters:     The customer chose a design for the shutters and the hubby went to work. In order to withstand the weather conditions that these shutters must face, cedar wood was chosen for the project. Here are the shutters that he completed for them:     We offered to add a stain or paint to the shutters but the customer wanted...

Horseshoe Sign - Sold!

Horseshoe Sign - Sold!

We recovered an old horseshoe from a local horse farm and wanted to find some way to give it a new life.  We cleaned the horseshoe with a mixture of vinegar water and elbow grease. It looked great but needed something else.... When you think of horseshoe, you think of horses. When you think of horses, no other state comes to mind more quickly than the beautiful state of Kentucky. So, we attached the reclaimed horseshoe to one of our Kentucky signs and the result was even better than we expected!   And we weren't the only ones that felt...
